WEIRD MIAMI opens this saturday!
WEIRD MIAMI the new exhibition that will open this saturday at the Bas Fisher Invitational.
Since the beginning of my employment at Churchills Pub, located in Little Haiti, a man would periodically come in and drop off what appeared to be gifts. Throughout my time there he also started writing reports to accompany the objects he seemed to find off the street. I began saving the objects and reports. The video I created for the WEIRD MIAMI show presents the material he has brought in over the past 3 months.
The piece is titled 069 Lips- Which sometimes he addresses the reports to, and other times he signs them as. Here are a few stills from the video:

Product Placement
Commissioned by the Bass Museum of Art to do an installation for the window display outside of Walgreens. I took it as a challenge to use only products/materials sold from Walgreens to create site specific work for their window. I spent the alloted money solely inside Walgreens for materials, so the project was completely dependent upon what they sold at that specific time- drawing a relationship between contemporary art, everyday materials, and what's accessible. And here are a few pictures of what I came up with..
